I Fired Money as My Boss. Here’s What Happened.

There's the work you do for the bills, and then there's the work that makes you feel alive.

For too long, I let the first one dictate my life. Every move was calculated. Every piece of content was a commodity. I was chasing currency, and it was running me into the ground.

The shift was simple, but not easy: I decided to work for love. Full stop.

Now, my blogs, my teachings, my art—they’re not tasks on a to-do list; they're extensions of my soul.

I traded the exhaustion of "Will this sell?" for the exhilaration of "Does this feel true?" The freedom in that exchange is tectonic.

And the paradox? When you stop treating your passion like a product, the universe starts investing in you. Opportunities, connections, and yes, even money, flow in as by-products of your devotion, not as the end goal.

Why?

Because authenticity has an energy that can't be faked and can't be ignored. It draws people in.

This is the core of mastery: creating a legacy of impact, not just a balance sheet. You build something that transforms people because it was born from a place of love, not a place of need.

Your Mastery Moment: If you’re tired of the chase, get off the track.

Ask yourself: If I took money completely off the table, what would I create for the sheer, rebellious joy of it?

That's where your real power is hiding.

To your Mastery,

Joelee.
