Why I’m Breaking Out in Hives at the Thought of Being Broke"
I Am Having an Allergic Reaction to Poverty
Poverty is more than a lack of money—it is a mental, emotional, and physical strain that seeps into the smallest cracks of life. It changes how you walk, how you speak, how you dream. I have come to realize that my body, mind, and spirit are rejecting it. I cannot breathe in its air anymore. I am allergic to the limitation, the scarcity, the constant compromise of my worth.
This is not about greed. It is about freedom. Freedom to rest without worry, to give without hesitation, to live without fear that tomorrow will strip away today’s progress. Poverty is an environment that breeds survival mode, and survival mode kills creativity, vision, and joy.
I am no longer willing to adapt to it. I am no longer willing to "make do" or "just get by." That is not resilience—that is captivity dressed up as endurance. My new standard is wealth—not just in finances, but in peace, health, relationships, and opportunity. I want abundance in every room of my life, and I will build it brick by brick if I have to.
If you feel this too—if your soul is restless, your body tired, and your spirit telling you “enough”—then you are not just wanting more, you are ready for more. And readiness is the first seed of transformation.
